JUST AS YOU BATHE YOUR DOG, I too have a tendency to use water regularly. And how could I not? It's one of the basic things that all creatures, humans and dogs alike, delight in.
One of the first things I ever did was to separate out the water from the land, at the beginning of creation. And since then, I have used water to perfect my purposes in every age.
Have you considered getting baptized? Even as you are washing your dog, so too have I provided a way for you to be made clean, through that same means of water. Even my Son Jesus Christ sought the water of baptism in order to fulfill all righteousness.
And if you're already baptized into the Body of Christ, even better! Let every time you bathe your dog be a reminder of that baptism whereby I have redeemed you.
