IF YOU'RE GOOD AT SOMETHING — and I created every single person with unique gifts and talents, so chances are, you are good at something—it becomes easier to trust in yourself and your abilities. That's a good thing.
And yet, I am asking you to engage in an even deeper kind of trust, a trust that has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with Me.
I say this because as you well know, it's still not always possible to trust in the ways of the world, in human judgment, or in poorly working systems. As much as I desire your flourishing, I know that your brain is not always trustworthy — nobody's is, because nobody is perfect.
And that's okay.
But that makes it all the more important to focus your trust in the only One who will never let you down — Me.
