IT'S REALLY EASY in today's world to get accustomed to working and struggling all the time, being busy constantly. I get that. I created you to be active, and I don't hold against you your desire to achieve things.
The problem is, if you don't rest sometimes, you will tend to forget about Me, and about my desire for you to be restored in my knowledge and love.
I imagine you are carrying heavy burdens, and if you are addicted to work, chances are you may not even realize just how heavy those burdens are. But you don't need to carry them alone. My Son Jesus Christ calls all who are weary to enjoy the refreshment that can only come from Him. He knows how to carry the most difficult things.
And at the end of the day, remember that it is me, your Creator, in whom you can confidently rest, trusting in the everlasting safety of my provision.
