AND NOT JUST YOU, but your dog, too. You've learned how to provide for him, and that requires diligence and sensitivity on your part. But try to remember that in an ultimate sense, I'm actually the one who provides for you both. You both depend on Me.
It's always been this way. I gave the people of Israel food in the wilderness when they needed it. At a later time, my Son Jesus Christ gave himself as the Bread of Life for the world.
And of course, I then sent my Holy Spirit to sustain and comfort all of creation, even to the present day. Every time you feed your dog, I invite you to meditate on my own provision in your life, and in the lives of all people.
Just as you provide for your dog, I have provided for you, even to the end of the age. For man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from Me.
