NO SHORTCOMING OF YOURS IS TOO MUCH FOR ME, since I made you and take everything you do in stride.
It's just like when you're cleaning your dog's fur off the furniture. No matter how often you try to regularly brush it, some of it still ends up all over the place. How annoying is that!
For this reason, it's easy to think everything you do comes to nothing, regardless of your intentions or efforts. And in a sense, that's true—as the saying goes, all is vanity.
But how much more true it is that no matter what happens in the life of you and your dog, I, the Lord your God, am always there for you, cleaning up after your messes. In fact, I have already cleaned up the greatest mess of all—sin and death—through my Son, Jesus Christ.
All you have to do is believe on his name, and you can inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
And maybe even your beloved dog will join you!
