THERE ARE MANY WONDERFUL THINGS IN THE LIFE OF HAVING A DOG. Picking up dog poop is not one of them. Even I, your Heavenly Father, know that.
But is love supposed to be pleasant all the time? The answer, of course, is no. True love is patient, bearing all things, enduring all things, all for the sake of others.
By picking up after your dog, you're enacting the love of neighbor that I desire for all humanity, as you seek to love others as yourself, even when it's not convenient for you. Because you know how annoying it is to step in dog poop.
By attending to little things like this, you show yourself loyal to Me and my ways.
