O Holy Trinity,
Even though I try to regularly brush
My beloved dog's fur,
And thus de-shed him,
Still, some of his fur ends up
On the furniture.
What a fitting illustration of how
No matter how hard I try,
My works ultimately come to nothing.
I may do my best
To not mess things up,
And yet I cannot help it.
And yet, O God,
You still clean up after me
Time after time,
Just as I do for my dog.
Thank you for always being there for me.
