Father,
You have created my beloved dog
As an icon, a representation,
Of your unconditional love for me,
And mine for you.
As we spend this time together,
Bonding as playmates in your creation,
May you continue to make me mindful
Of your desire for my flourishing
In relationship with your only Son, Jesus Christ.

For the gift of leisure
