Lord Jesus Christ,

You are the Great Physician.

And could it be

That you are also

The Great Veterinarian?

You came to heal humanity

From our sinful state

Can it be that you also want

My beloved dog

To be made well?

Lord, I choose to trust today

That you want all members of your creation

To be healthy.

Help me manage my anxiety in this moment

As I wait for

My beloved dog

To be made well.
